“We are very pleased with the system. The sound quality is exceptional and the wireless solution really puts us in a position to fully arrange the space according to the wishes of the people involved”.

- Roel Meurs, project director for Bunschoten municipality

Bunschoten municipality is a mid-size municipality with slightly more than 20,000 residents. Bunschoten municipality has a multi-functional town hall which, in addition to council meetings, also hosts committee meetings, conferences with external parties, and staff functions as well as other types of gatherings.

With the renovation of the town hall in 2014, these diverse needs resulted in the selection of a flexible layout, where furniture could be moved around easily. This layout required a conference system with the same flexibility.

In addition to the desired flexibility, Bunschoten municipality was also looking for a user-friendly system which, due to the ever-changing set-ups and users, was sufficiently sturdy. Electric Sound Benelux was one of the parties that was asked to present its solution.
During an intensive series of tests from several stakeholders, it became clear to us that the wireless beyerdynamic Quinta system would best meet the strict requirements that Bunschoten had set. The sound quality, simple method of operation, and the sturdy construction were all ultimately deciding factors.

The product
Bunschoten municipality selected a wireless system from beyerdynamic with 30 Quinta MU 21 gooseneck microphone units and 1 lavalier microphone.

The wireless Quinta system is used internationally and is defined by its high degree of flexibility, sound quality, and reliability.

The selected solution was installed entirely to the client's satisfaction with the help of our long-term partner, Inter Visual Systems from Duiven. Since March 2014, the system has been used roughly 1 to 2 times per week.
